Giving Back - Revitalization in More Ways Than One

Urban Investment Partners’ goals do not end with the bottom line. We are dedicated to transforming Washington, DC, into a vibrant, desirable, and economically strong residential community. Revitalization is not just our mission—it’s a reality. Through small everyday initiatives our renovation efforts include green features and breathe new life into underutilized structures and their surrounding environs. UIP does this by promoting and handing out reusable shopping totes, eliminating lawns that require mowing, planting trees, installing water saving and renewable energy technologies, and much more. As neighborhoods thrive, the local economy grows ultimately the city and its residents reap the benefits.

Urban Investment Partners is committed to fighting homelessness in the Nations capitol. The Anne Frank House (AFH), a DC based charity providing shelter to once homeless individuals, has partnered with UIP and many of our friends, to increase awareness of the plight of homeless individuals and families and to help support AFH. Through our efforts, including participation in the Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Program (http://www.helpthehomelessdc.org), each year, we seek to improve our city by bettering the lives of those who need assistance.
